There are many different reasons, why involving an external IT Executive Manager. In agreement with the client we generally proceed as follows:

In order to gain a quick overview of all relevant IT areas initially an IT-Assessment will be performed and an action catalogue will be generated. Based on these facts a budget planning / IT controlling will be implemented or continued, suppliers will be managed, eventually contracts re-negotiated and projects from the action catalogue will be processed. If not existent, a IT strategy will be generated in agreement with the clients management.

Furthermore the IT personnel will be guided and the generation of job description, as well as the selection process and the interviews for the new IT-Manager will be supported. Finally the temporary IT-Leadership will be transferred to the new IT-Manager within1-2 weeks.
